I’m a brand identity design specialising graphic designer based in County Durham, with a love for bold colour palettes and clean, sans serif typefaces.

 

My passion for design started as a teenager making my own artwork and photo edits for my favourite songs and albums, which lead to me pursuing the subject in my education. It initially started as a hobby and just a subject I enjoyed at school, with no idea I could pursue a career as a graphic designer until I worked at a print and design company for my school work experience. I then went on to study graphic design at college and university, graduating with my degree in 2018. 

 

After graduating I worked on occasional projects, starting with family and friends, to gain more professional experience whilst looking for full time work as a designer before deciding to follow the freelance path (at least until lockdown happened)

 

I took some time through lockdown to think about my future and what direction I wanted to take my career in next, whilst also taking on a job in retail, after projects were put on hold. I’ve taken the time to overhaul my portfolio to move in the direction of brand identity specialisation, and showcase this with new client and passion projects.

 

Branding has always been something I’ve felt most passionate about since working on my first branding project at college, so it felt natural to rebrand with this as my area of expertise, whilst still offering a full range of creative skills and services to compliment brand identities. 

 

I love bold and beautiful colour palettes, modern and clean sans serif typography and beautiful calligraphy, but also love to try something different and learn something new. I’m looking forward to taking my career in a new and exciting direction, with a fresh new rebrand of my own to compliment my skills and services as a designer.
